HARE KRISHNA FESTIVALS - ITALY - SUMMER 2004

Also this summer you are all invited to spend a calm and relaxing spiritual vacation, in one of the Hare Krishna centers, to try the happiness that come from the practice of Bhakti-Yoga. On 12 and 13 August at Prabhupadadesh, Vicenza Temple, will be present some spiritual masters of I.S.K.CON.,

ITALIAN RATHA-YATRA 2004

Saturday 14 August we will meet in Viareggio (Lucca), on the Tirrenian East Coast, for the usual Ratha Yatra, the Festival of the Chariots, with many shows (dance, lecture, martial arts etc.) and a  vegetarian banquet. For information please call (0039) 055 820054 or give a look here (in Italian language):

STATISTICS AND SERVICES

The traffic of  TRKN portal is gradually increased until to count at present beyond 2000 visitors per day (for the website), from all around the world (60% from Italy). Then, about 2500 daily total listeners from the radio stations of Radio Krishna Network (live stream only), 7500 download and/or listeners of  RKC's archive, and some hundred of connections for Tv channel's watchers.

 

Weekly meetings in videoconference, discussion forum (in English and Portoguese languages, too), books on-line, newsletter service (sent to 3.700 mail addresses), photo-gallery and many other service are available on the site, presented now in 6 different languages: join to us !

 

 

TELE KRISHNA CENTRALE / TEMPLES ON-LINE PROJECT

3 different channels are now available for TKC broadcasting, 24 hours per day. Many movies are also available for download from station's page (under construction). 

We are also broadcasting audio and video live stream from Villaggio Hare Krishna in Bergamo (near Milan), from 4.30am to 9.00pm (Italian time, GMT + 1 +  daylight saving). See them at: https://www.radiokrishna.com/stations/

 

 

RADIO KRISHNA NETWORK

At present 8 radio stations are available, since we recently added live stream broadcasting from temple of Hillsborough (North-Carolina - USA). RE-OPENING of RADIO KRISHNA CENTRALE BROADCASTING (international covering) Exploiting the capacities of internet radio broadcasting, to spread all around the world, we are working to a very interesting project: recently some great firm presented on the market a radio-set able to receive, 

besides the normal AM-FM stations, also thousands of radio-stations broadcasting by internet, using the home (or office, or any other) internet connection, without need computer. The equipment is very similar to a normal mini or midi audio system, but can tune in also RKC's stations via internet.

 

Therefore, we are preparing to broadcast a broadband live stream, near CD quality (128 Kbs - 44 KHz - Stereo), starting with Italian language for real live (new) shows. Then, we can talk about to open other language's streaming, too.

Since the price of these new audio systems is still little high (200-250 $), we are working with some dealer to have a good discount for our listeners, distributing them all around the world.
