HARE KRISHNA FESTIVALS - SUMMER 2005
We are glad to inform you about the Italian Hare Krishna
Festivals - Summer 2005.
His holiness Jayapataka Svami, spiritual master of
I.S.K.CON., the International Society for Krishna consciousness,
will be in Italy from 18 to 21 August. His holiness will
arrive in Villa Vrindavana, the temple near Florence, on Thursday
18. There, on Friday 19, he will lead the Festival of Panihati, a
feast with special courses of vegetarian food, to remember the great
feast guided by the Lord Sri Nityananda in Panihati village (in
Bengal, India), about 500 years ago. During the festival will
be executed traditional ceremonies of fire, with spiritual
initiations and vaisnava's marriages, beyond usual dancing,
lectures, singing, classes and other spiritual activities of great
inspiration. On Saturday 20 his holiness also will attend to
the festival of chariots, the famous Ratha Yatra in Viareggio, in
honor to the Lord Jagannatha. He will leave Italy on Sunday
21 early morning. You are all invited to attend to the
programs, to try out personally the serene and comfortable
atmosphere surrounding these activities, to taste some nice
vegetarian courses and have an idea of the happiness of the

Casciano in Val di Pesa (Florence). Meetings with guests, disciples,
aspirings etc.
FRIDAY 19 AUGUST 2005 - PANIHATI FESTIVAL IN
VILLA VRINDAVANA
Leading festival with iniziations, marriages,
etc.
Other meetings are possible.
SATURDAY 20 AUGUST 2005
- RATHA YATRA IN VIAREGGIO
Participation to the Ratha
Yatra.
SUNDAY 21 AUGUST 2005
Early morning, he will leave
Italy from Pisa airport.
